Young Greatness dead

Greenbacks Money rapper Young Greatness was shot and killed in New Orleans on Monday.

The New Orleans hip-hop customs is mourning the expiry of another one of their own today following the death of Young Greatness, real name Theodore Jones. Greatness was shot to death in an apparent robbery incident at approximately one:30 AM on Monday morning (Oct 29, 2018). CBS News reported that the 34-year-old rapper was pounced upon by gunmen outside a Waffle House in the 2900 block of Elysian Fields Avenue.

The New Orleans Police Department reported that Jones was shot in the dorsum and his shooter(s) took his automobile. The rapper'south female parent, Jeanine Rose, told reporters that he was in town for a funeral and was on FaceTime with his manager when the shooting started.

Young Greatness is a New Orleans native who was signed to Greenbacks Money Records. He is best known for the 2022 hit song "Moolah" which made a paring on the Billboard Hot 100 chart that year. Jones was living in Houston at the fourth dimension of his death afterwards moving in that location after Hurricane Katrina.
