What do you want your images to do? It seems to me that it would be a lot easier if you were to put each image onto a single slide and then set up your show to loop continuously until you press 'Esc'.

Dear Michael,

Thanks for your attention.

What I want to do is to show in the same position on the slide the changes in a sattelite photo of a portion of Earth`s surface. I don`t want to change the slide, just show up and again how the view from the surface changes, in a kind of looping animation.

I know to do it in one single cycle, but don`t know how to repeat it over and over again (until I click with the mouse).

The answer was helpful and friendly.

I`m waiting eagerly for your answer.

Thanks again.

You can make the slide a custom show and loop it. If you wnt to make the pictures really loop on one slide the only way is to recode the animations with vba. We have an AddIn that does this for you if you don't code but it isn't free sadly!

I would also like to know the answer to this question. I have a circular animation, that pluses as it moves around the circle. I would like it to keep going until I click for the next slide. Surely there must be a way to do this in Power Point?

Many thanks

Hi Chirag

I don't want to fade-in or fade-out anything, I want to loop the animation sequence I already have.

I still don't see how this could help?

Many thanks

Chirag is offering an AddIn that will create looped animations. To make existing animations loop there are only two ways I know.

1. Make the whole slide loop as a custom show. This will only work if you want ALL animations on the slide to loop

2. Write code to modify each of the animations you need to loop. This is not trivial coding and unless you are very familiar with how PowerPoint animation code works is likely to be above you. I doubt anyone here can talk you through it though they may be able to do it for you (probably not free)

Hi John

Yes I do want to loop everything on one slide in the presentation. I can only see how to loop the whole presentation though. How do I loop one individual slide? You are quite correct writing code is above me, by a long way :-)

Many thanks

make the slide to loop a one slide custom show (Slide show >Custom shows > new) and give it an auto transition of zero seconds. If you set the presentation to loop then that slide will loop if you use an action button to jump to the custom show,

That will loop the whole show but not a series of animations.
